DTU Latest PhD Scholarships, Denmark 2022-23

For the academic year 2022-2023, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is accepting applications for PhD positions in Carbon as a Startup’s Currency at the Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship.

The position will be headquartered in Lyngby, Denmark, near Copenhagen, at the DTU Entrepreneurship Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship. This is a PhD project. Their research encourages technology-based entrepreneurship by developing, distributing, and applying knowledge and skills to education and company development both within and outside of DTU.

    The Technical University of Denmark, or DTU, was formed in 1829 on Hans Christian orsted’s proposal as Denmark’s first polytechnic, and it is now regarded as one of Europe’s finest engineering colleges. It’s in the Danish town of Kongens Lyngby, about 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) north of Copenhagen.

    DTU is a member of the EuroTech Universities Alliance, which includes the École Polytechnique de Paris, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Eindhoven University of Technology, Technical University of Munich, and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

    The university is managed by a ten-member board of trustees: The majority of the board is made up of people recruited from outside the university. The scientific staff appoints one member, while the administrative staff appoints the other. Students at the university appoint two members.

    The Danish Accreditation Institution granted DTU institutional accreditation in 2014. Institutional accreditation assures that the institution’s quality assurance system is well-defined, well-supported, and well-functioning in practise.

    DTU has no faculty governance because there is no faculty senate and the faculty is not engaged in the appointment of the President, Deans, or Department heads.

    • The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programs at DTU.

    • Admission Requirements: Candidates should have a master’s degree (120 ECTS points) in Sustainability, Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Law, Finance, or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.
    • Language Requirement: Applicants can reveal their language proficiency through the following qualifications: IELTS, TOEFL.
