The University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) is accepting applications for its Entrance Scholarships in Malaysia from excellent overseas applicants.

The initiative is designed to encourage students from all over the world who are interested in starting undergraduate studies in the academic year 2022/2023.

The International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW), situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a combined international university. It was formed in 2012 as a collaboration between the IUMW and Trinity Saint David University in Wales.

More About International University of Malaya – Wales

The International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) is a Malaysia-based international combined university. It was formed in 2012 as a collaboration between the University of Malaya (UM) and Trinity Saint David University in Wales (UWTSD).

IUMW offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and welcomes both Malaysian and international students. IUMW students have the option of enrolling in dual programmes of study, in which graduates obtain degrees from both the IUMW and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in the United Kingdom; in other words, they graduate with two degrees.

Students from IUMW can also enrol in a student exchange programme, which allows them to study at UWTSD. IUMW students also have free access to the University of Malaya’s facilities and resources in Kuala Lumpur.

The IUMW campus is on land leased by Bank Negara Malaysia, which was purchased by BNM in 2017.

Bachelor’s degrees in entrepreneurship, human resource management, international business, Islamic finance, marketing, accounting, and real estate management and auction are available through the Faculty of Business, as well as master’s, doctoral, and doctor of philosophy degrees in business.

Bachelor’s degrees in biotechnology, psychology, computer science, information technology, and professional communication; master’s degrees in internet engineering and professional communication; and doctor of philosophy degrees in computer science and professional communication are all available through the Faculty of Arts and Science.

A foundation in science and a foundation in the arts are available through the Centre of Foundation, Language, and Malaysian Studies.

Bachelor’s degrees in computer science, professional communication, psychology, entrepreneurship, human resource management, international business, Islamic finance, marketing, and accounting, as well as a master’s degree in business administration, are available through IUMW Dual Award programmes. Students will get certification from both IUMW and UWTSD when they graduate.
