Private Baldwin Wallace University (BW) is located in Berea, Ohio. Methodist industrialist John Baldwin created it as Baldwin Institute in 1845. In 1913, the institution combined forces with nearby German Wallace College to become Baldwin-Wallace College.
BW has two campus locations: BW at Corporate College East in Warrensville Heights and Berea, which acts as the main campus. BW now has 830 graduate students, 800 evening and weekend adult learners, and about 3,050 full-time undergraduate students enrolled.
BW not only recruits students from all throughout Ohio but also from other countries and the United States. “Creating contributing, caring citizens of an increasingly global society” is Baldwin Wallace’s slogan. The Ohio Athletic Conference is where the athletic teams representing Baldwin Wallace compete.
