To qualify for the University of Oregon Scholarships, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements:

  • All overseas and international students can apply.
  • Students can apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree program taught at the University of Oregon.
  • To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
    • The applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon.
    • The applicants must not be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
    • The applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement.

How to Apply for University of Oregon Scholarships?

Please follow the following application instructions to apply for the University of Oregon Scholarships:

2# Incoming freshmen and new transfer, new graduate and new post baccalaureate applicant

  • YOUR FIRST STEP: You must apply for Admission to the University of Oregon before you can apply for scholarships.
  • Watch your email for an invitation to enter the University of Oregon Scholarships Dashboard. This happens within a week of submitting your application for admissions.
  • Login to the University of Oregon Scholarships Dashboard and submit the General Application, ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application and the ICSP Scholarship Application.  You must apply for admission prior to this step.
  • All applications and Reference Letters must be submitted by February 16, 2024 by 4 p.m. (PST).
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
    • High school transcripts
    • Personal statement
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the admission requirements of the university, such as high school graduation or a relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
    • TOEFL PBT – 500
    • TOEFL IBT – 61
    • IELTS – 5.0
    • Satisfactory completion of level 112 in an English Language School
