ICT Funded Awards For Emirati Students 2022-23

The ICT Fund BETHA Program encourages Emirati students to undertake for undergraduate or master’s studies in the academic year 2022-2023.

By introducing a Betha programme for undergraduate and graduate students interested in ICT-related issues, the ICT Fund hopes to improve Emiratis’ technology education.

The ICT Fund, in partnership with a number of universities and study groups, grants scholarships to deserving students in order to help produce a generation of scientists and technologists who can guide the UAE’s future in the ICT sector. Hundreds of scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees have been awarded through the Betha programme, allowing Emirati learners to study in the UAE, the United States, Australia, and Japan.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for ICT Fund BETHA Program for Emirati Students, the applicants must fulfill the following criteria

• Required Language: English
• Eligible Country: United Arab Emirates

Admission requirements for the Postgraduate (Master’s) Degree program:

• Should be a UAE citizen and provide a civil registry as a proof
• Should apply for a specialization in the field of telecommunications and information technology
• Should have achieved a cumulative score of 3.00 and above in the bachelor’s degree
• Should not have received a scholarship or other financial assistance from any other entity
• In case of employment, the Master’s degree student is entitled to the scholarship without the monthly allowance

Admission requirements for the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Degree program:

• Should be a UAE citizen and provide a civil registry as a proof
• Have achieved a minimum score of 75% in secondary school certificate or its equivalent in schools
• Should apply for a specialization in the field of telecommunications and information technology
• Should have been graduated from secondary school or its equivalent during the last three years
• Should not be employed
• Should not have received a scholarship or other financial assistance from any other entity.

• Kindly prepare clear copies of:
  – Full Acceptance/Admission Letter. (Conditional Approvals will not be accepted)
  – Certified High school Certificate for undergraduate students certified by the Ministry of Higher Education or equivalent (showing the final result)
  – Transcript for students continuing the undergraduate program (an official transcript that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the register’s office.)
  – Family book (all pages without exception)
  – Official IBAN letter that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the bank.
