The Kellogg Institute for International Studies

Since 1983, the Kellogg Institute for International Studies has offered visiting scholarships to support interdisciplinary global studies through a cooperative society of academics. This well-known scholarship programme allows you to study where you need to, advance your personal studies, and collaborate with other academics and professionals from all around the globe.

As a visiting fellow, you will do research at the Kellogg Institute on subjects of democracy and human development, share your findings with the Notre Dame scholarly community, and have the opportunity to publish in Kellogg’s peer-reviewed Working Paper Series.

With a $500,000 endowment, Frank B. Kellogg established the Frank B. Kellogg Foundation for Education in International Relations at Carleton College in 1937. At the time, Kellogg was a trustee of the college. The endowment initially supported two full-time professors and one half-time professor, as well as six students: four at Carleton College and two Carleton students studying abroad.
