More About Holland NL Scholarship

The Holland NL Scholarship is for international students who live outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and plan to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands. What do you think of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Send in your application for the Holland Scholarship!

Several research universities and universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands have contributed to the funding of this fellowship.

The Holland NL Scholarship provides the recipient with:

• Scholarship amount  €5,000.
• Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship.

Eligibility for Holland NL Scholarship

To qualify this Scholarship, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

• Required Languages is English
• Non-EEA International Students are eligible
• You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
• Your nationality is non-EEA.

How to apply for Holland NL Scholarship?

Please follow the following instructions to avail Holland NL Scholarship:

Step-2: You can find an overview of participating research universities here  and participating universities of applied sciences here and selected fields of study.

Step-3: Compose a letter of motivation (max. 500 words) to the university, in which you describe why you are a talented student, considering both your academic achievements and extra-curricular activities (e.g. voluntary work).

Step-4: Indicate in your online application that you are applying for the Holland NL Scholarship and upload your scholarship motivation letter where indicated. The university will contact you to let you know if you have been awarded a scholarship.
