High-achieving international students who live in Africa and have been accepted into any full-time undergraduate degree program at the University of Nottingham are eligible for the scholarships. Successful applicants will earn between £2,000 and £6,000 toward their first year of college education.

Eligibility
To qualify for the University of Nottingham Scholarships, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements:
- Africa country is eligible.
- The scholarship will be awarded for an undergraduate degree in all disciplines offered by the University of Nottingham.
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Applicants must be domiciled in any African country.
- Applicants must be classed as ‘overseas’ students for tuition fee purposes.
- Applicants must hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree program at the University of Nottingham in September 2023.

- The applicants must enroll in the university using the online application portal and complete the application process. The applicants can also apply through the scholarships section of our application system, Nottingham Hub. Applicants will meet the criteria will be considered.
- The Applicants must submit transcripts, a letter of recommendation, qualification certificates, an essay (if require), and English certification.

- The University of Nottingham will offer scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, covering £2,000 to £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.

Scholarship criteria
- You do not need to respond to your offer in UCAS before submitting your application for this scholarship. However, awards will only be made to students who firmly accept their offer to study with us in UCAS.
- Scholarships will be awarded after assessing all scholarship applications. We will contact you in early June 2023 to confirm the outcome of your application.
- In some cases students are eligible to apply for more than one University of Nottingham award. Very occasionally students may be offered the Undergraduate Excellence Award alongside a scholarship from their Academic School, or a Sporting award. To maximize the reach of University’s Scholarships offering, we aim not to double award, but in exceptional cases this may be possible where the combined total does not exceed 100% of tuition fees.
- If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.
